Organisation: Leiden Organ-on-Chip Centre in collaboration with Alvéole and Optics11 life

Always wanted to learn more about designing and making your own culture micro-environments? Or do you want to be able to measure and control the mechanobiology of your cells in culture? Then this is your opportunity to learn how to do this and to ask any questions you might have!

The Leiden Organ-on-Chip Centre is teaming up with Alvéole and Optics11 Life to tell you all about the Primo maskless photolithography system (Alvéole) as well as the indentation systems of Optics11 Life. Product specialists Massimiliano Berardi (Optics11 life) and Dr. Shubham Sahu (Alvéole) will each give an introduction to the respective technologies, followed by scientific presentations by two scientists who will discuss how they are applying the equipment in their own scientific research. The featured scientific speakers are Dhanesh Kasi (Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands) and Dr. Marine Luciano (University of Mons, Belgium). Of course, there will be the opportunity to ask questions after each of the presentations.

In addition, the Organ-on-Chip Centre, Alvéole and Optics11 Life will be hosting a hands-on workshop in early 2025. Please let us know during the webinar which type of applications you would be particularly interested in to test in the hands-on workshop.
